I'm planning on using an iron-on adhesive to put a solid piece of material on a square cut-out of the poster board for each letter (I don't know what size yet, though). Then, I'll use the iron on to put navy letters on each square. I'm not sure how I'm going to hang the letters yet, but it shouldn't take much.
