It's hard to believe that we're actually moving. Our house went on the market last Thursday afternoon and we've already had 7 showings. It's been a challenge getting out of the house with the dog and the baby, but we've managed, thanks to our in-laws who welcome all 3 of us with open arms! We've had great feedback on the property, but no offers yet! Hopefully soon.
I'm in the midst of packing boxes while trying to keep my house neat in case a realtor calls to request a showing. It's been challenging and requires a lot more time! I've got 12 boxes packed so far and a whole lot more to go! Does anyone have any boxes they're willing to give us?

Oh man, we HAD a million boxes...and right across the street! Four suggestions though - FedEx Kinko's paper boxes are great for books and other heavy things (they even have handles). Starbucks coffee boxes are great as well - and they always have tons available. Chik-filet's Waffle Fry boxes are great as well. Lastly, Pier 1 has lots of boxes for furniture, decorations, etc. Some were a little too big but nonetheless, lots of good quality boxes.
Hope that helps! We'll miss you as our neighbors!!!
If I were you I'd take the Todds up on their offer. Professional moving boxes ROCK!!! We used ours for three different moves and they were still usable when we shipped them off to the recycling center.
Melanie,
Bryan could probably get you some from the store. You would just need to let him know to start putting some aside for you. We used the Apple store boxes on our last 2 moves and they are good quality boxes for moving. They have all different sizes including some really large ones.
I'm just writing to point out that "Realtor" is a trademarked name and is not synonymous with "real estate agent". "Realtor" is a member of the National Association of Realtors and must be capitalized. Not all Realtor's are real estate agents and not all real estate agents are Realtors.
Jen- Thanks so much for the offer of boxes. That would be great if Bryan could put some aside for me. Maybe in the week or two I can come down and pick them up, that way we can have a chance to visit!
