A few updates

All is going well at the homefront, thanks to the help of our family!!! Patrick actually went back to work today and will go tomorrow as well. He'll be off the majority of next week (Mon - Thurs) and then my sister and her husband will be up over the Thanksgiving holiday. We already have some meals scheduled to come to us from dear friends over the next several weeks as well. We've been blessed! I'm feeling pretty well. I'm still VERY sore, since I did have some tearing down below. I'm moving slow, but with extra hands around, my kids are being well taken care of. Now, if I can just get Ethan to sleep at night instead of in the day... :-)

My dad has been here since yesterday and is leaving this afternoon to head back home. Mom is staying until Saturday afternoon. It should be just the 4 of us next week, which will be a very special time for our family.
Here are some recent pics...I'll keep the updates coming as I can! PS - Grandmas and Aunts --> I am currently getting pictures uploaded to a developer to make sure I print some out and sent out to you ASAP!!!

So, has Ethan watched Star Wars with Daddy yet, or does that happen next week?

Uncle David might even like to be in on that one.... ;-)

Thanks SOOO much for the pix. I already have them in my screensaver. E resembles his sister, I think.

Love you!!!!!

Oh Melanie! He's SO beautiful! He stikes me more as a very stylish, GQish teenager than a baby...I think it's his little hair line. Congratulations! We're so happy for you guys and wish we were close enough to bring you dinner!

Is Patrick showing him how to use some sort of projectile-launcher already?

He looks wonderful, Mel! Really strong and healthy :-)

Oh my goodness! I can't believe how much he ALREADY looks like BOTH of you! I look at him and think one of you, then see the other, but he's SO obviously YOUR child! : ) I don't think Karis had that "look" for a LONG time....then she just became her daddy : ), but it took awhile! But Ethan has it already!!!! : )

Yes Kelly, that is a sling bow. It will fire foam darts over 50 ft.
He is having a difficult time using it right now since he hasn't learned to effectively use his opposable thumbs. We are currently practicing with Mallory who is able to use it with some help.

He looks just like his sister! I'm amazed how awake he is already! He is beautiful! My sister-in-law (brother's wife), just gave birth to twin boys on Tuesday and everytime I see them they are sleeping! Hopefully they'll be brite-eyed soon like precious Ethan! Congrats again! Keep the updates coming (as best you can)!

Congrats! He is sooo adorable! It is so fun to read your blog and catch up on your life...I am glad that Courtney put your website on hers! 2 kiddos can be a lot of work but they are such a joy and gift from the Lord! Just wait until they start playing/fighting together! :) Love, Ashley Mitchell Wright
